Services Designed to Support a Smooth, Thoughtful Transition

From early planning through move day and beyond, I provide hands-on coordination and personalized support to help reduce overwhelm and create a more organized, well-supported transition for seniors and their families.

Every situation is different. Services may be tailored to your family’s specific needs and level of support.

Downsizing & Planning

I help families determine which belongings will best support comfort, familiarity, daily living, and quality of life in the new home.

This may include:

  • selecting meaningful furniture and personal belongings

  • prioritizing everyday essentials

  • helping preserve routines and familiarity

  • considering space limitations and functionality

  • reducing overwhelm during emotional decision-making

A calm and objective outside perspective can often help families move through difficult decisions with greater clarity and less stress.

Move Coordination

I manage the many moving pieces involved in a transition so families do not have to coordinate everything on their own during an already emotional time.

Services may include:

  • coordinating and scheduling movers

  • managing timelines and logistics

  • overseeing move-day details

  • communicating with service providers

  • helping ensure the transition stays organized and on track

My goal is to create a smoother, more supported experience from beginning to end.

Packing & Unpacking

Belongings are carefully packed, labeled, unpacked, and organized so the new home feels functional and familiar as quickly as possible.

Special attention is given to:

  • organizing kitchens, bedrooms, and daily-use spaces

  • creating practical systems for everyday living

  • arranging belongings thoughtfully and intentionally

  • preserving comfort, familiarity, and personal meaning

The goal is not simply to move belongings, but to help create a home that feels settled and ready to live in.

Home Setup

A move is not complete when the boxes arrive.

I thoughtfully set up the new home so it feels comfortable, organized, and ready for daily living from the very beginning.

This may include:

  • furniture placement and arrangement

  • hanging artwork and meaningful personal items

  • organizing closets, kitchens, and living spaces

  • creating an environment that feels familiar and easy to navigate

  • helping reduce disruption during the adjustment period

My focus is on creating a space that feels calm, functional, and emotionally grounding during a significant life transition.

Companion Check-Ins

Optional non-medical visits provide continued support after the move and help ease the adjustment period for both seniors and their families.

Visits may include:

  • companionship and conversation

  • help settling into routines

  • light organization support

  • identifying practical day-to-day needs

  • thoughtful updates for family members

These visits are designed to provide additional connection, support, and peace of mind during periods of change.
